Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the services provided by Sparkle & Structure ("we," "our," or "us") or accessing our website at www.sparkleandstructure.com.

By booking our services, submitting an inquiry, or accessing our website, you ("client," "customer," or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our services.

1. Services Provided

Sparkle & Structure offers professional cleaning services, including but not limited to:

  • Residential Cleaning: Regular maintenance, deep cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, post-renovation residential cleaning.

  • Commercial Cleaning: Office cleaning, retail cleaning, medical office cleaning, industrial/warehouse cleaning, janitorial services.

  • Post-Construction Cleaning: Rough cleaning, final cleaning, touch-up cleaning for new builds and renovation projects.

A detailed description of services is available on our website and will be outlined in your personalized service agreement or quote.

2. Booking, Scheduling & Cancellations

  • Booking: Services can be booked via our online form, phone, or email. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Sparkle & Structure.

  • Quotes: All quotes are estimates based on the information provided by the client. Actual charges may vary if the scope of work changes, if the property is significantly dirtier than described, or if additional services are requested on-site.

  • Confirmation: A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation from Sparkle & Structure, which may include a deposit requirement for certain services (e.g., first-time deep cleans, move-in/out, post-construction).

  • Cancellations & Rescheduling:

    • Clients must provide at least 24 Hours for cancellations or rescheduling of residential cleaning appointments.

    • Cancellations or reschedules made with less than the required notice may incur a cancellation fee of 15 %.

    • For commercial and post-construction projects, cancellation and rescheduling policies will be specified in the individual service contract.

  • Access: The client is responsible for providing our team with safe and unobstructed access to the property at the scheduled time. Failure to provide access may result in a cancellation fee.

3. Pricing and Payments

  • Pricing: Our pricing is based on the type of service, property size, frequency, and specific client needs as outlined in your quote or service agreement.

  • Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) via our secure online payment portal or virtual terminal. We do not accept cash payments for services unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.

  • Payment Timing:

    • Residential (One-time/Deep/Move-In/Out): A deposit of 25% may be required upon booking, with the remaining balance due immediately upon completion of the service.

    • Residential (Recurring): Payment for recurring services will be processed [e.g., immediately after each service using the pre-authorized payment method on file.

    • Commercial & Post-Construction: Payment terms will be specified in the individual service contract. Deposits may be required for larger projects.

  • Late Payments: Invoices not paid by their due date may incur a late payment fee of 5% per week on the outstanding balance.

  • Taxes: All prices are subject to applicable provincial and federal taxes (e.g., HST in Ontario).

4. Client Responsibilities

  • Preparation: For residential cleans, we request clients to tidy up excessively cluttered areas to allow our cleaners efficient access to surfaces. For commercial and construction, specific preparation requirements will be outlined in the service agreement.

  • Safety: Ensure a safe working environment for our team. This includes securing pets, notifying us of any hazardous conditions, and providing a safe space for our equipment.

  • Valuables & Breakables: Clients are responsible for securing or removing any valuable, fragile, or sentimental items prior to our arrival.

  • Specific Instructions: Any specific cleaning instructions or areas of concern must be communicated clearly at the time of booking or during the initial consultation.

5. Our Responsibilities

  • Professional Service: We commit to providing high-quality, professional cleaning services using trained and vetted personnel.

  • Insurance: Sparkle & Structure is fully insured and bonded for your peace of mind.

  • Equipment & Supplies: We will provide all necessary cleaning equipment and eco-friendly cleaning supplies unless otherwise agreed upon.

  • Privacy: We will respect your privacy and adhere to our Privacy Policy regarding the handling of your personal information.

6. Damage Policy

  • While we take utmost care, accidents can happen. Clients must report any damage caused by our team within 24 hours of service completion.

  • Photos of the damage must be provided. We will investigate the claim promptly and fairly.

  • Sparkle & Structure is not responsible for damage due to faulty installation, lack of maintenance, or pre-existing conditions of any items.

  • Our liability for damages is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the damaged item, up to the maximum coverage provided by our insurance policy.

7. Complaints and Redo Policy

  • Client satisfaction is our priority. If you are not satisfied with our service, please contact us within 24 Hours of the service completion.

  • We will re-evaluate the area(s) of concern and, if necessary, return to re-clean at no additional charge. Re-cleans must be scheduled within 3 Business Days of the initial complaint.

  • This policy does not apply to services that were partially completed due to client-imposed time limits or access issues.

8. Termination of Service

  • By Client: Clients may terminate recurring services by providing 7 Days written notice.

  • By Sparkle & Structure: We reserve the right to terminate services due to safety concerns, hostile environment, non-payment, or repeated breaches of these Terms by the client. In such cases, outstanding payments for services rendered remain due.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sparkle & Structure shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the services; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the services; or (c) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sparkle & Structure, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the services.

11. Privacy

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of any changes by posting the new Terms on our website. Your continued use of our services or website after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
